Recruiter - 2 Month Contract

Recruiter:

This Role is responsible for delivering all facets of recruiting success throughout the organization. As well as assisting in the day-to-day administration of the HR department. The ideal candidate:

• has experience with and enjoys mass hiring for general labor positions with tight timelines.
• is creative and resourceful thinks outside the box!
• has experience in developing strategic recruiting plans, employing traditional sourcing strategies and resources as well as developing new, creative recruiting ideas.
• Is skilled with different HRIS systems and computers and completes administrative duties and recordkeeping quickly and efficiently.
• has experience in maintaining an extensive, up-to-date database of candidates available as needs arise.
• has experience helping to write policies and memos.

Job Duties Include but are not limited to:

• Responsible for full-cycle recruitment: creating and managing job postings, pre-screening applicants, phone interviews, virtual interviews, in-person interviews, selection, negotiation, contract preparation, pre-employment training, pre-employment licensing verification, and onboarding.
• Creating and sending contracts and letters of offer.
• Following up with candidates to ensure proper onboarding.
• Administrative duties including, reference checks, data entry, and other duties assigned.
• Confer with management to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills.
• Support management in the interviewing process as needed.
• Encourage employee referrals, communicating its importance and creating incentives to those who produce successful hires
• Attend career fairs for recruiting and company recognition/brand awareness.
• Other duties.

• College or University Degree

• Able to respond quickly in a dynamic and changing environment.
• Highly flexible, with solid interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively with different managers, candidate personalities, etc.
• Good active listening skills are essential.
• Excellent in all MS Office.
• Outstanding interview skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to work under pressure to meet departmental targets.
• Working towards a CHRP would be an asset
