As an Account Handler, you will provide day-to-day support to Brokers and Account Executives in the management of client insurance programmes. You will help ensure the smooth administration of accounts, maintain accurate records, and contribute to the delivery of outstanding client service.
How you'll make an impact
- Support brokers and account executives with the administration and servicing of client accounts.
- Prepare client documentation, including policy schedules, endorsements, certificates, renewal information, and reports.
- Liaise with insurers and internal stakeholders to obtain policy documentation and underwriting information.
- Assist with renewal processes, including gathering information, preparing market presentations, and managing timelines.
- Maintain accurate client and policy records on internal systems.
- Process premiums, invoices, and other insurance documentation in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Respond to client queries promptly and professionally, escalating complex matters where appropriate.
- Help monitor outstanding information and documentation to ensure service standards are achieved.
- Build effective working relationships with colleagues, insurers, and clients.
- Ensure all activities are completed in line with Gallagher's compliance, regulatory, and governance requirements.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support the wider team as required.
About you
- Understanding of London Market insurance practices.
- Progress towards, or interest in pursuing, CII qualifications.
- Experience working within a client-facing environment.
