The Brand Manager will be responsible for researching trending topics, creating, maintaining, and elevating our brand content along with marketing team members to achieve our business goals. Collaboration with the department and credit union management is essential to build our content calendar and communication strategy. the Brand Manager will always strive to maintain a consistent "voice of the brand" across multiple channels for all product and brand campaigns.

Our ideal candidate is an experienced professional with a breadth of marketing skills including campaign planning, analysis, copywriting, and art direction. The Brand Manager should be able to manage deadlines well and be detail oriented. They should be equally comfortable working with the team or independently accomplishing marketing goals while overseeing all marketing content initiatives to ensure customer engagement, brand consistency and make financial concepts fun and accessible.

Responsibilities:

• Develop organizational content strategy aligned with short-term and long-term business objectives.
• Create and maintain a content and editorial calendar in collaboration with management.
• Collaborate with Marketing Team to plan and develop content for promotional campaigns as well as evergreen product communications.
• Assist the Marketing Team in creating visuals for multiple channels including email, website, social media, brochures, videos, and other collateral.
• Serve as the main copywriter for all channels; as well as edit, proofread, and improve copy provided from other sources – both internal and external.
• Coordinate marketing communications with internal and external stakeholders.
• Competitive research and analysis
• Manage quarterly member newsletter process – editorial, production and distribution.
• Stay up to date with developments and generate new ideas to draw the audience's attention.
• Represent the credit union at marketing events as needed.
• Manage one team member.

Essential Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will have a bachelors degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field. Three (3) to five (5) years of work experience as a Brand Manager or equivalent. PORTFOLIO REQUIRED - must have both copywriting and visual samples.

• Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud apps and MS Office required.
• Knowledge of graphic design, web and email production – including responsive design - preferred.
• Video production and editing experience preferred.
• Creative, but analytical and a strategic thinker – able to see the bigger picture.
• Familiarity with social media best practices
• Excellent writing skills in English
• Detail oriented with good organizational and time-management
• Familiarity with email management platforms (i.e. MailChimp), Asana (or similar project management platform) and CMS (i.e. HubSpot)

Working Conditions

• Must be able to function in a normal office environment with regular contact with other employees.
• Must be able to sit frequently.
• Must be able to communicate through speaking and hearing and use visual acuity for reporting and presenting information to other employees, credit union members, and/or vendors and other third-party members.
• Must be able to distinguish color for designing and editing website and
• Must be able to lift a moderate weight of 15 to 45 lbs. occasionally, such as for lifting marketing.
• Position is required to occasionally work unusual hours, as needed according to website.
