How you'll make an impact in this role

• Design and execute tailored care plans: Evaluate patient living skills and deliver targeted occupational therapy modalities to help patients regain independence and safely return to daily activities.

• Guide treatment progression: Continuously monitor patient response, adapt treatment strategies as needs evolve, and consult with the interprofessional team to maximize therapeutic outcomes.

• Empower patients and families: Educate patients and caregivers on managing physical deficits, utilizing adaptive equipment, and navigating post-discharge support programs.

• Maintain high-quality clinical documentation: Accurately record patient progress and discharge plans to ensure seamless care continuity and compliance with quality standards.

• Lead and supervise therapy teams: Direct Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) and therapy technicians to maintain exceptional care quality and regulatory compliance.

 

What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Occupational Therapy (OT) credentialed from the Wisconsin Medical Examining Board prior to hire date or job transfer date required.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree required. Master's OR Doctorate degree preferred.
