The Role & You

We develop wireless sensor technology for smart buildings, and AI runs through both our products and the company behind them. You will work on two fronts: the AI algorithms at the heart of our products, and the AI workflows that make everyday work across the whole organization smarter and faster.

This is a hands-on builder role. We are not looking for a prompt operator, and not for a data scientist — we are looking for someone who understands the technology and builds with it. Students, recent graduates, and early-career engineers are welcome.

This position can be based in either Munich, Germany, or Utrecht, the Netherlands. We are recruiting for one role and will hire one candidate. The employment contract will be concluded with the local EnOcean entity at the selected location. Please apply only once and indicate your preferred location.

• A video recording (max. 10 minutes — recommended)

What you’ll be doing

• Develop and improve the AI algorithms inside our products — the models and analytics that turn sensor data into insight.
• Build automated AI workflows that take recurring manual work off people’s plates.
• Bring AI into our systems of record — CRM, ERP, HR, quality, ticketing — together with the people who own those processes.
• Prototype quickly, keep what works, and turn it into shared company infrastructure.

What we’re looking for

• Solid scripting in Python or JavaScript/TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience automating workflows and connecting tools through APIs.
• A working grasp of models, data, and agents — enough to reasonabouttrade-offs.
• Completed AI projects you can walk us through end to end — they matter more to us than degrees or years of experience.
