Description
The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority welcomes exceptional talent with a passion to realise the vision and mission of making the West Kowloon Cultural District a prime local and international destination for arts, culture and entertainment.
(This is a fixed-term contract position of 24 months)
(Candidate with less experience can be considered for the post of Assistant Accounting Officer)
You will be responsible for:
supporting the preparation of monthly financial reporting and schedules in a timely and insightful manner;
supporting the Finance Department operation in accounts payable and providing general accounting support;
supporting the budget preparation and the update of the forecast;
supporting the annual audit by preparing various supporting schedules for the audited financial statements;
supporting the financial reporting revamp;
supporting other ad hoc duties when required; and
performing any other duties from time to time as the Authority may reasonably direct.
You should:
possess a recognised university degree in finance, accounting or equivalent;
have around 3 years of experience in finance, accounting or auditing, preferably gained in a multinational/large organisation;
preferably have good skills in using financial / accounting applications and computerised accounting systems (e.g. excel, Oracle, SAP etc.);
be detail minded and have good interpersonal skills; and
be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese.
