Associate Director - Source-to-Contract Global Process Owner

Job Purpose

The Source-to-Contract Global Process Owner (GPO) is accountable for the global strategy, governance, design, standardization, and continuous improvement of the end-to-end Source-to-Contract process across GSK Procurement. The role establishes the vision and roadmap for process excellence, digital enablement, and policy compliance, ensuring the process enables efficient, compliant, and value-driven procurement outcomes.

Operating within the Global Procurement Centre of Excellence, the role partners closely with Procurement, Finance, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and business stakeholders to define and evolve global process standards, capabilities, and system solutions. The Source-to-Contract process impacts large populations of internal and external parties, requiring strong leadership across a complex stakeholder landscape.

The role drives process harmonization, governance, performance management, and transformation initiatives, ensuring Source-to-Contract capabilities remain scalable, efficient, compliant, data-driven, and aligned to GSK's strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the global Source-to-Contract process and supporting technology ecosystem, defining the end-to-end process strategy, operating model, governance framework, standards, and future-state vision on behalf of Global Procurement.
• Lead the design, standardization, and optimization of Source-to-Contract processes across Direct and Indirect Procurement, driving simplification, harmonization, scalability, and adoption of leading practices globally.
• Lead process transformation initiatives while maintaining business-as-usual process effectiveness, including oversight of testing, release readiness, and deployment of enhancements across process and technology platforms.
• Develop and execute a continuous improvement and innovation roadmap, leveraging stakeholder insights, external benchmarking, emerging technologies, automation, analytics, and AI-enabled capabilities to ensure the process remains fit for purpose and delivers business value.
• Own process and technology performance, defining data requirements, governance, key performance indicators, and reporting structures to monitor effectiveness, identify improvement opportunities, and drive measurable outcomes.
• Accountable for maximizing the return on investment of the Source-to-Contract process and supporting technologies, including benefits realization, value tracking, prioritization of enhancement investments, and management of funding requests.
• Own and maintain the policies, standards, controls, and documentation governing the process, ensuring accuracy, compliance, regulatory alignment, and effective governance across the enterprise.
• Develop and deliver effective change management, communications, training, and adoption strategies to ensure consistent understanding, execution, and compliance with Source-to-Contract standards and ways of working.
• Ensure audit readiness and business continuity by leading process controls, supporting internal and external audit activities, coordinating issue resolution, risk mitigation, and business continuity planning.
• Partner with Procurement, Finance, Technology, Risk, Compliance, and business stakeholders to govern process priorities, manage demand, influence strategic decisions, and lead a high-performing team responsible for delivering the Source-to-Contract roadmap and ongoing process excellence.

• Deep expertise in procurement processes, operating models, governance, systems, data, and change management to design, standardize, and continuously improve the global Source-to-Contract process.
• Requires strategic analysis and judgement to resolve complex process, policy, data, and technology challenges where stakeholder needs, system constraints, compliance requirements, and business objectives must be balanced.
• Business knowledge and end-to-end procurement process understanding
• Strong stakeholder partnership and cross-functional collaboration to be the face the process
• Technical understanding and curiosity to translate business requirements to feasible technical requirements
