Description
Position Location: We're all about flexibility! This will be a hybrid role based out of our corporate headquarters in Lakeville, MA with Mondays and Fridays remote.
In this role, the Process Engineer is responsible for development, scale up, and qualification of equipment and processes to support global base business, innovation, and manufacturing optimization initiatives. This role collaborates with cross-functional teams achieve business and technical objectives and contribute subject matter expertise. Additionally, the Process Engineer communicates results and aligns key stakeholders, interfaces with external vendors, and provides technical leadership to OS and partner manufacturing facilities.A Day in the Life...
Contribute process engineering expertise to cross functional teams to inform successful design, scale up, and qualification of new products and processes.
Lead technical assessment, validation, and commissioning of processes at OS and partner manufacturing facilities, collaborating with RDS functional peers to meet technical and business objectives.
Identify, validate, implement, modifications to processes to improve yields, throughput of batching and thermal processing, utility savings, process control, and other relevant operational targets
Apply standard engineering techniques in the analysis of existing operational areas from raw materials to finished packages to troubleshoot process related production challenges and recommend corrective actions.
Lead design, development, and execution of experiments in the pilot-plant and with strategic vendor partners to inform process scale up, troubleshooting, and research.

What We Are Looking For:
Required
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Science, or equivalent
Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
Creative thinker with a passion for innovation, problem solving, continuous improvement, and engineering excellence
Highly organized, adaptable, self-starter able to effectively manage multiple projects
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and willingness to lead cross functional project teams
Proficiency with MS Office, AutoCad, MS Project
Preferred
Experience with data analysis and visualization in Python or similar tools
Education:

$72,200 - $90,300The base salary range information above serves as a guideline of the position’s typical hiring range.
