Description
The Maintenance Analyst provides integrated maintenance planning and analysis in support of Department of Defense acquisition and sustainment programs. The position develops maintenance concepts, performs logistics analyses, and ensures maintenance strategies are aligned with system readiness, reliability, affordability, and lifecycle sustainment objectives. The analyst collaborates with engineering, product support, field services, supply chain, and program management to develop maintenance products that enable systems to be fielded, operated, and sustained throughout their service life.
Primary Responsibilities
Develop maintenance concepts and supportability strategies for systems across the acquisition lifecycle.
Perform Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) and recommend optimal repair concepts.
Develop and maintain Maintenance Task Analysis (MTA) products.
Assist and provide input into the Repair Parts and Special Tools List (RPSTL)
Support Reliability, Availability, Maintainability (RAM) assessments and maintenance planning.
Develop maintenance plans, maintenance concepts, and technical documentation supporting fielding and sustainment.
Analyze maintenance data, operational trends, and failure information to improve system readiness.
Support development of provisioning documentation and maintenance-related provisioning requirements.
Coordinate with Product Support Managers to integrate maintenance planning into Life Cycle Sustainment Plans (LCSPs).
Support Integrated Product Support (IPS) planning in accordance with DoD guidance.
Develop and review maintenance portions of CDRLs and technical deliverables.
Coordinate with engineering to ensure maintenance requirements are incorporated into system design.
Support depot activation planning and repair capability development.
Evaluate maintenance impacts associated with Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs).
Support development of Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) and maintenance procedures.
Provide maintenance planning support for fielded systems, depot operations, and contractor logistics support activities.
Participate in Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), design reviews, logistics working groups, and customer meetings.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or related technical discipline with 12+ years of experience and 10+ years with MS degree.
Knowledge of DoD Integrated Product Support (IPS) Elements.
Understanding of Reliability, Availability, Maintainability (RAM) principles.
Experience developing maintenance concepts, task analyses, and supportability documentation.
Knowledge of LORA methodologies and repair-level analysis.
Familiarity with military maintenance concepts including organizational, intermediate, and depot maintenance.
Ability to analyze technical drawings, engineering changes, and system configurations.
Working knowledge of provisioning, configuration management, and technical publications.
Strong analytical, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work across multiple programs in a matrix organization.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and logistics data management tools.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience supporting DoD acquisition or sustainment programs.
Knowledge of S-Series specifications, or equivalent logistics standards
Experience with LORA software, logistics databases, and ERP systems.
Familiarity with Power BI, SQL, Power LOG- J or logistics analytics tools.
Active Secret security clearance or ability to obtain one.

Development of maintenance plans for complex weapon systems.
Support to depot stand-up or sustainment operations.
Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) experience.
Integrated Product Support planning.
Technical publication and maintenance documentation development.

Pay Range:
