The People Services Senior Generalist is part of the North America People Services organization and reports to the People Services C2R Lead in the Bogotá Hub, with a dotted-line relationship to the North America People Services Data Quality Manager. This role plays a critical part in ensuring data integrity, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across People Services processes.
The Senior Generalist acts as a key Workday and HR operations expert, supporting data quality audits, employee master data management, reporting, process documentation, system testing, and stakeholder support. The role also contributes to enhancing employee experience by driving automation opportunities, strengthening governance, and providing guidance to People Services teams and business stakeholders.

Main responsibilities
Conduct daily audits of employee, payroll-impacting, and organizational data within Workday for the North America region
Identify data quality issues and partner with relevant stakeholders to implement corrections
Ensure integrity, accuracy, and consistency of employee master data
Maintain compliance with internal controls, policies, and governance requirements
Provide documentation and support for internal and external audits
Support People & Culture teams and business stakeholders with reporting, analytics, and data validation requests
Create and maintain reports and dashboards to support operational and business decision-making
Analyze data trends and recommend actions to improve data quality and process effectiveness
Monitor key operational metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
Serve as a subject matter expert for Workday processes and functionality
Manage and support workforce-related processes, including Reduction in Force (RIF) and VIE activities
Support testing activities related to Workday enhancements, releases, and new functionalities
Provide backup support for Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) mass upload processes
Maintain process documentation and ensure alignment with operational standards
Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and process documentation
Deliver Workday training and knowledge-sharing sessions to Tier 1 People Services teams
Support onboarding and capability-building initiatives for new team members
Promote best practices and continuous learning within the People Services organization
Identify and implement opportunities for automation and process optimization
Drive initiatives that enhance service delivery, efficiency, and employee experience
Support digital transformation projects and operational excellence programs
Contribute to standardization and simplification efforts across People Services operations
About you
Experience
Experience in HR Operations, People Services, HRIS, Employee Data Management, or related areas
Strong experience working with Workday and employee data processes
Experience in HR reporting, auditing, data quality management, and process improvement
Experience supporting stakeholders in a shared services or multinational environment is preferred
Soft & Technical skills
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
High attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy
Excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities
Strong customer-service mindset and employee-focus approach
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines

Solid experience with Workday reporting and employee data management
Knowledge of payroll-impacting transactions and HR processes
Experience conducting audits and data validation activities
Familiarity with EIBs, mass uploads, and HR system testing
Advanced Excel and reporting capabilities
Experience developing SOPs and process documentation
Education
Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Analytics, or related field
Languages
English: Advanced proficiency required
Portuguese is a plus
