Description
The Warehouse Coordinator provides assistance and support to warehouse management and employees. Communicate status of workflow, perform miscellaneous duties to ensure the work plan and employee needs are met while working in a safe manner.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES:
· Ability to perform all warehouse functions in assigned area
· Assist with onboarding tours for agency and employees
· Identify & coordinate training when refresh is required.
· Assist Supervisor/Manager with printing of daily and monthly checklists
· Maintain Departmental KATA boards and assist with morning meetings.
· Maintain open communication and coordinate workload requirements (i.e., prioritize work in all areas by wave) with all appropriate personnel
· Knowledge of warehouse standard operating procedures (SOP)
· Computer skills (ability to learn and use Manhattan, SCI, and other software programs as needed)
· To be available to employees (i.e., reassign/unlock tasks) in an assigned area to identify any problems and provide assistance to resolve
· Coordinate work with other areas to ensure workload requirements are met
· Ensure errors are corrected within a timely manner so as not to impede workflow
· Work in all areas as needed
· Ability to interact within a team environment
· Ability to work Overtime
· Operate non-motorized equipment needed to perform job functions within your assigned area
· Perform other work area functions as needed to accommodate changing workload priorities
EDUCATION:
· High School Diploma, G.E.D. or equivalent work experience
· College or University degree in Logistics or five years related on the job experience (Preferred)

· Be alert to, watch for, and immediately report all carton jams and mechanical equipment failures
· Operation of RF equipment

WORKING CONDITIONS:
· Primarily works in a unionized, warehouse environment with exposures to conveyor noise, power equipment and dust
· Acceptable vision to perform job functions
· Must be able to lift and move boxes up to 50 lbs
· Mobility necessary to work all levels of building
· Ability to stand 90% of day if required by job function
· There is a possibility of working a different shift depending on the business needs
