Job Description:
Strategic Planning & Development
- Develop and implement strategic frameworks linking academic programmes to career pathways and workforce needs.
- Align educational initiatives with the KPJ Health System’s strategic direction and talent development agenda.
- Lead the planning and execution of professional and educational development initiatives across the University.
Academic & Professional Development
- Coordinate CPD, executive education, and postgraduate development programmes.
- Collaborate with faculties and industry stakeholders to design relevant professional development pathways.
- Identify emerging healthcare and educational trends to enhance programme relevance and employability.
Stakeholder Engagement
- Establish strategic partnerships with healthcare institutions, professional bodies, industry partners, and regulatory agencies.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders to support lifelong learning and workforce development initiatives.
- Promote interdisciplinary collaboration and academic-industry engagement.
Operational & Administrative Management
- Manage the Centre’s daily operations, budget planning, reporting, and resource allocation.
- Ensure compliance with University policies, accreditation standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor and evaluate programme effectiveness and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
Research & Innovation
- Support educational research, innovation, and scholarly activities related to professional development and workforce transformation.
- Encourage evidence-based practices in curriculum enhancement and training development.
Job Requirement:
Qualifications & Requirements
- Master’s Degree in Education, Healthcare Management, Human Resource Development, Public Health, or related field.
- PhD qualification is an added advantage.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in academic management, professional development, healthcare education, or strategic educational planning.
- Strong understanding of higher education frameworks, CPD, and healthcare industry requirements.
- Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and strategic planning skills.
- Experience in programme development and collaboration with professional or healthcare organisations is preferred.
