  • Prepare, review, and maintain essential program security documentation, including Operations Security (OPSEC) Plans, Security Classification Guides (SCGs), Exposure Contingency Plans (ECPs), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Conduct security risk assessments and evaluate potential threats and vulnerabilities associated with classified programs, advanced technologies, and critical research initiatives.
  • Assess foreign intelligence threats and develop analytical products, recommendations, and mitigation strategies to support program protection and security classification decisions.
  • Provide security classification guidance and recommendations to Government stakeholders to ensure compliance with applicable DoD and Air Force policies.
  • Coordinate with Air Force security authorities, Government Program Managers, and mission partners to address program security requirements, resolve security concerns, and support program objectives.
  • Support the development and delivery of security education, training, and awareness initiatives for program personnel and stakeholders.
  • Assist with security requirements associated with program transitions, sustainment activities, and system close-out actions.
  • Ensure adherence to applicable security policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements while maintaining the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive program information.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field. An additional four (4) years of relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of related acquisition program experience, including at least six (6) years supporting Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) or Special Access Required (SAR) programs.
  • Extensive knowledge of DoD acquisition security requirements, program protection methodologies, and applicable security policies and procedures.
  • Strong familiarity with governing security guidance, including Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), Joint Air Force-Army-Navy (JAFAN) manuals, DoD Manuals, and other applicable security regulations.
  • Demonstrated expertise in developing, coordinating, and implementing DD Form 254 requirements throughout the Air Force acquisition lifecycle.
  • Proven experience conducting security risk assessments, identifying program vulnerabilities, and implementing appropriate risk mitigation measures.
  • Experience developing and reviewing OPSEC plans, Program Protection Plans, Security Classification Guides, and other program security documentation.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide detailed security classification guidance and technical security recommendations in support of classified acquisition programs.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, written communication, and problem-solving skills.
