Description
What you will do
- Support Verification & Validation (V&V) activities for Stryker Sports Medicine’s Enabling Technologies products by executing formal and informal tests, analyzing results, and verifying alignment with expected outcomes.
- Develop expertise in medical software products by building a strong understanding of their clinical use cases and the complex workflows they support.
- Create and maintain manual test cases to support verification activities and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Contribute to test automation efforts by developing and maintaining scripts for automated testing.
- Independently organize and execute testing activities, identify open questions, and propose appropriate next steps to drive progress.
- Take ownership of assigned work by proactively communicating status updates, risks, and blockers, while delivering tasks with limited supervision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure testing activities align with product requirements, quality standards, and user needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting of testing activities, results, observations, and recommendations.
What you will need
Required qualifications
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Basic software development knowledge, preferably in Python.
- Professional working proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
- General interest in software development, digital technologies, and medical technology.
Preferred qualifications
- Experience with Jira, Squish, Git, or similar software development and testing tools.
- Prior exposure to software testing, quality assurance, or automation scripting.
- German language skills.
- Ability to work onsite in Freiburg (approximately 80-100% onsite presence).
