About the Role

Join our Psychosocial Disability Region, where we specialise in developing individualised therapeutic models of support. As a Service Coordinator, you will provide strategic leadership and guidance to Support Workers, ensuring quality outcomes for participants and fostering independence. Staff supervision and development are key aspects of this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor staff to deliver active, person-centred support.
- Participate in the development and review of participant plans and programs.
- Monitor and assess plans for effectiveness, ensuring goals are achieved.
- Negotiate service offerings within funding boundaries.
- Ensure personalised development plans for team members.
- Oversee documentation and compliance with funding requirements.
- Design innovative rosters within budget and funding frameworks.
- Manage workforce planning, risk management, and cost monitoring.
- Approve timesheets accurately and in line with payroll processes.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and complete incident reporting.
About You
- Experienced in developing and delivering complex service plans and projects.
- Skilled in supporting people with complex mental health diagnoses and behaviours of concern.
- Flexible and person-centred, with a commitment to creating homely environments.
- Strong leadership in guiding therapeutic interventions and staff development.
- Ability to build and maintain effective stakeholder relationships.
- Preferred understanding of mental health projects and hospital discharge pathways.
Qualification and Essential Licences
- Current Driver’s Licence.
- NDIS Worker Screening Check & Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain).
- First Aid & CPR certification.
- Tertiary qualification in Disability, Social Work, Behavioural Science, Psychology, or similar.
- Eligibility to work in Australia.
