About the Team:
The APAC Investment Technology team is responsible for all APAC Investment Technology support and project delivery. The team closely partners with business executives and functional teams to design, develop, and deploy cutting-edge capabilities in support of Invesco’s APAC investment business (including Fixed Income, Equities, ETFs, Trading and Research), using Agile delivery methods and collaboration to provide automated and innovative solutions.
About the Role:
Deliver and support investment technology solutions across applications, system integrations, data platforms, and architecture enhancements.
Act as the key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating business requirements into functional specifications and technical solutions.
Support the full solution lifecycle, including requirements gathering, testing, implementation, and ongoing application support.
Identify process gaps and drive system, workflow, and operational improvements in a scalable and cost-effective manner.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery within agreed timelines and budgets.
Leverage automation and AI-driven tools to optimize processes, reduce manual effort, and improve efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Enable the full project lifecycle, including planning, design, development, testing and rollout in line with Agile standards.
Partner with portfolio managers, traders, operations, compliance, and technology teams to translate and break down business and data requirements into clear functional specifications and development tasks.
Apply knowledge of investment data, order management, trade lifecycle, and regional market practices to articulate technical solutions to regional and global business partners.
Provide production support to critical investment applications and interfaces, as well as root cause analysis.
Work as part of a project team, reporting progress and escalating issues to project management in a timely manner to ensure successful completion of projects / reviews.
Adhere to standards set by Invesco’s project methodology and promote best practices within and across the teams.
Support automation, workflow optimisation, and AI-enabled productivity improvements.
Requirements of the Role:
7+ years of experience as an Investment Business Analyst, Product Support Analyst, or similar
2+ years supporting investment teams, including portfolio managers and traders
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Proficiency in SQL
Experience with OMS platforms such as Aladdin or Charles River
Knowledge of investment data, securities, ETFs, and trade lifecycle processe
AWS/cloud platform knowledge is a plus
Comfortable working in ambiguous environments and adopting emerging technologies, including GenAI
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and teamwork skills
