Job Description:
This position as business analyst is an important part of any project team. Acting as the key interface between the users and the project manager they gather information, document processes, and confirm the final documents with users, and keep stakeholders informed the entire way. This is all done within the confines of a company's goals, vision, and standard operational procedures.
Daily tasks include:
- Evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
- Leading ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies.
- Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
- Implementing access controls, system user risk management strategies to prevent breaches.
- Documenting and communicating the results of your efforts.
- Effectively communicating complex technical security policies clearly to non-technical business units and stakeholders.
- Change and Project Management influencing teams, resolving conflicts, and guiding organization-wide adoption of new data habits.
- Working closely with clients, technicians, and managerial staff explaining complex technical policies clearly to non-technical business units and stakeholders.
- Providing leadership, training, coaching, and guidance to business teams.
- Ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
- Performing user acceptance testing.
- Updating, implementing, and maintaining procedures.
- Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
- Managing competing resources and priorities.
- Monitoring deliverables and ensuring timely completion of projects.
Requirements:
- An associate degree in business or related business operational experience.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in SAP ECC Supply Chain, User Access Provisioning or User Master Data Mining.
- Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- The ability to influence stakeholders and work closely with them to determine solutions.
- Excellent documentation skills.
- Fundamental analytical and conceptual thinking skills.
- Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- A track record of following through on commitments.
- Excellent planning, organizational, and time management skills.
