We’re looking for an experienced Facilities Maintenance Coordinator to join our team in Archerfield, Brisbane to coordinate the maintenance, safety, and performance of our facilities while supporting efficient business operations. This is a permanent, Monday to Friday role.
What you’ll be doing
As a Facilities Maintenance Coordinator at Hastings Deering, you will:
- Build strong partnerships – develop and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders across the business and external service providers.
- Drive facility performance – conduct inspections and audits across business centres, identify defects, and manage maintenance requests through our Maintenance Service Centre software.
- Coordinate maintenance activities – oversee planned and reactive maintenance to ensure facilities, equipment, and plant operate safely and efficiently.
- Manage contractor delivery – engage and coordinate contractors while maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality, compliance, and timely completion of works.
- Maintain compliance standards – monitor maintenance programs and support regulatory compliance requirements across all facilities.
- Support continuous improvement – contribute ideas, initiatives, and solutions that optimise facilities performance and help achieve team objectives.

What you’ll need
A successful teammate will have experience in:
- Facilities coordination experience – previous experience in a facilities, property, maintenance, or asset coordination role.
- Safety and compliance knowledge – sound understanding of Workplace Health and Safety requirements and regulatory compliance obligations.
- Strong communication skills – ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Organised and adaptable – capable of managing competing priorities and coordinating multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Digital capability – proficiency across Microsoft Office applications and experience using maintenance management systems is advantageous.
- Trade-based background – trade qualifications or hands-on maintenance experience will be highly regarded.
