Position Summary

Leads finance operations and strategic initiatives that improve efficiency, strengthen controls, and support business growth. Partners with cross-functional teams to optimize processes, implement technology, and deliver scalable and compliant finance operations.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

• Manages end-to-end accounts payable operations and supports the timely and accurate completion of period-close, financial reporting, and income-reporting activities.
• Ensures established service levels, productivity targets, operational performance measures, and quality standards are achieved.
• Establishes and maintains a strong control environment by promoting compliance with company policies, internal controls, audit requirements, and regulatory standards.
• Identifies, evaluates, and mitigates operational risks and implements improvements that strengthen process consistency, accountability, and operational performance.
• Leads cross-functional strategic initiatives, finance transformation efforts, process improvements, and technology implementations from planning through delivery.
• Uses data, reporting, and analytics to support decision-making, measure performance, and identify opportunities to improve finance operations.
• Coordinates stakeholder communication, training, change management, and user adoption activities that support successful project and process implementation.
• Builds and develops a high-performing team through coaching, performance management, succession planning, knowledge transfer, employee engagement, and professional development.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in finance, accounting, accounts payable, or a related area.
• 3+ years of management experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional projects, process improvement initiatives, finance transformations, or system implementations.
• Proficiency with ERP systems, finance technologies, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office applications.

• Frequent use of hands and fingers for typing, handling documents, and operating office equipment.
• Occasional lifting/carrying of office materials/boxes up to 25 lbs.
• Adequate vision and hearing (with or without correction) to read, prepare, and communicate information.
• Occasional movement, bending, and reaching as needed to perform office tasks or attend meetings.
• Some travel may be required, including overnight travel.
