Responsibilities:

  • Own operational oversight and month-end close activities for Oracle ERP Projects, AR, and RMCS, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, control compliance, and issue resolution
  • Serve as the functional and technical Finance Operations lead for Oracle ERP enhancements, configurations, integrations, testing, release readiness, and production support
  • Translate business and accounting requirements into scalable system and process solutions in partnership with Finance, Accounting, Tax, Sales Operations, and Technology teams
  • Lead, coach, and develop Finance Operations team members; establish priorities, performance expectations, and operating rhythms
  • Drive continuous improvement and automation initiatives that reduce manual work, strengthen controls, and improve customer and employee experience
  • Develop and maintain operational metrics, reconciliations, dashboards, and management reporting to monitor performance, identify risk, and support data-driven decisions
  • Manage cross-functional issue resolution for complex billing, project accounting, receivables, and revenue recognition matters, including direct client engagement when escalation is required
  • Ensure processes and system changes are documented, tested, auditable, and aligned with accounting policies and internal control requirements
  • Lead the functional Oracle workstream for mergers, acquisitions, and integrations, including finance-process discovery, requirements assessment, solution design, data and process alignment, testing, cutover readiness, and post-integration stabilization in coordination with Finance, Accounting, Tax, and Technology stakeholders.
  • Act as the Finance Operations liaison with Tax and other key stakeholders for entity setup, invoicing and tax treatment, collections, and reporting requirements

Required Professional & Technical Experience:

  • 7+ years of progressive experience in Finance Operations, back-office accounting operations, financial systems, or a related field, including experience leading teams or major cross-functional programs
  • Required: hands-on functional and technical experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, including the Subscriptions, Projects, Accounts Receivable (AR), and Revenue Management Cloud Service (RMCS) modules
  • Demonstrated ability to configure, test, troubleshoot, and improve Oracle ERP processes, integrations, reporting, and controls in partnership with technical teams
  • Experience managing back-office finance operations and month-end close processes, including reconciliations, billing, receivables, project accounting, and revenue recognition
  • Strong understanding of revenue recognition for SaaS, subscription, and professional services offerings
  • Experience translating finance and accounting requirements into scalable system designs, process improvements, and user stories
  • Proven ability to lead change, manage competing priorities, and coordinate across Finance, Accounting, Tax, Sales Operations, Technology, and external partners
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, documentation, and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Clear, concise, and detail-oriented written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced functional proficiency with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP; proficiency with Microsoft Office; and experience with Salesforce and work-management platforms are preferred
  • Functional knowledge of Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), including familiarity with integration touchpoints, data flows, and their impact on Oracle Fusion business processes, is preferred.

Leadership & Business Qualifications:

  • Proven people leadership skills, including coaching, prioritization, accountability, and development of high-performing teams
  • Experience establishing operating rhythms and using metrics, controls, and reporting to drive performance and informed decisions
  • Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-on operational and technical problem-solving
  • Track record of building trusted partnerships with internal stakeholders, clients, and external service providers

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master Degree preferred
  • Relevant experience to be taken into consideration in place of degree
