As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at transportation-related facilities and locations.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, roadways, work zones, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, traffic-related events, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and public agencies as required.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and vehicle entry records, and report unusual activity in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Prepare clear and accurate reports documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and interactions, while maintaining professional firearm handling in accordance with applicable laws, Allied Universal policies, and client requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
