Job Description

As a Security Officer Front Office Security in Boca Raton, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a residential location, you will serve as a welcoming, professional presence while monitoring access, greeting residents and visitors, and supporting a secure environment. You will use strong communication and customer service skills to address security-related concerns and help deter incidents. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a residential community.
• Staff the front desk and manage access by greeting visitors, verifying authorization, issuing visitor credentials as applicable, and directing guests in accordance with property procedures.
• Monitor entry activity, cameras, alarms, and/or communications systems as assigned, and promptly report unusual activity or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and emergency procedures.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident reports, access records, and other required documentation while supporting a professional and welcoming front-desk environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• At least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
