Description
Possess the equivalent of one year of experience in the operation and maintenance of a wastewater treatment laboratory or the performance of related work
High school diploma or equivalent supplemented with appropriate coursework in laboratory testing and analysis
Possession of, or the ability to obtain, a valid class C California driver’s license
Possession of a Grade 2 Certificate as a Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator from the California State Water Quality Control Board
Ability to obtain a Grade II Certificate within 18 months of hire.
The examination process may consist of the following parts: Application Package Review: Qualifying Only; Practical Exam 100% Weight Value. Candidates must earn a score of 70% or higher to be considered for the eligibility list.
