The Group Content and Publishing Chapter, within Marketing and Corporate Affairs, creates content that strengthens reputation, brand consideration and customer engagement. 

At the heart of this is the Brighter content ecosystem, helping build financial empowerment through content across Brighter magazine, digital editorial, video, organic social and owned channels. 

This is a 12-month fixed-term parental leave cover, with a focus on delivering and optimising Brighter magazine and digital content, and related campaigns.  

Do work that matters 

In this role, you’ll help plan, produce and optimise Brighter magazine and digital content, connecting customer insights and business priorities with engaging editorial experiences. 

You’ll work across the content lifecycle - developing briefs and stories, writing and editing, managing production and approvals, publishing digital content and identifying opportunities to improve its reach and performance. 

You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external agency partners to keep the editorial program moving while ensuring content meets customer, brand, editorial and risk standards. 

On any given day, you’ll: 

• Lead the end-to-end delivery of Brighter magazine with our agency partners, from editorial planning and briefs through to approvals and production. 

• Develop and manage briefs for Brighter digital content, including researching, writing and editing content in-houseSupport Brighter magazine NBC activity, including briefs, copy, approvals and bi-monthly in-app and eDM creative refreshes. 

• Partner with Product, Marketing, UX, Compliance, Research and other teams to deliver content that supports customer and business outcomes. 

• Manage content calendars, content repository updates and optimisations,   

• Build and publish digital articles in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and optimise content for SEO, metadata, tagging, accessibility and discoverability. 

• Use research, analytics and customer insights to assess performance and identify opportunities to improve content and distribution. 

• Improve content workflows, templates and processes to support efficient, high-quality delivery. 

We’re interested in hearing from people who have: 

• Experience in content marketing, editorial production or digital publishing, ideally across print and digital channels. 

• Exceptional writing, editing and storytelling skills. 

• Experience managing content from brief through to publication and optimisation. 

• Strong project management skills and experience managing editorial calendars, stakeholders and production partners. 

• Experience with a CMS, ideally Adobe Experience Manager. 

• A strong understanding of SEO, digital publishing and content performance. 

• Confidence using analytics and insights to inform content decisions; experience with Adobe Analytics is highly regarded. 

• Strong stakeholder management and editorial judgement in a complex environment. 

• A collaborative, delivery-focused mindset and the ability to manage changing priorities and deadlines.
