How would you like the opportunity to start a career within finance and accounting? With strong numerical ability, you will be involved in supporting and learning about the Accounts Payable processes.
'This role is a 13-month fixed term contract'
Core Responsibilities
Process vendor/customer invoices and payments in SAP promptly, following company policies
Validate invoices and payment requests, manage collections and resolve payment issues
Respond promptly to vendor/customer inquiries about payments, invoices and accounts statuses
Identify workflow inefficiencies and support improvement initiatives
Perform monthly reconciliation of accounts payable/receivable
Build and maintain professional relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Supporting compliance of the company policies and procedures, and supporting operation of global,
standardised and scalable processes
Using Activity Based Working, supporting and taking part in creating a culture that inspires to collaboration,
support knowledge sharing
Supporting high-quality service handling of customer queries
Supporting productivity initiatives across cross functional areas
Understanding, learning and using the financial IT platforms as an enabling function
Support BSO performance management reviews and supporting problem solving
Work with Procurement to improve PO compliance

Accounts payable is part of the general accounting department, and its specific mission is to manage and oversee ‘accounts
being paid’ or the money flowing out of a business. As you’d expect, the efficiency of our accounts payable system
directly relates to your organization’s financial stability and reputation and it’s an extremely vital part of a successful
business.
Do you have what it takes?
High school graduate
1-2 years of professional working experience, preferably in a related financial role or a position where capabilities
are transferable
Light exposure to finance processes
MS office: experienced
SAP or other large-scale ERP´s as a plus
Communication skills
Problem-solving skills
Team player and ability to meet deadlines
