Summary: VES is looking for an Production Supervisor  to join our team in our Matamoros,Tamaulipas location. This person will coordinate the activities of a group of operators and production work leaders to achieve the established standards of production volume, quality, safety and costs.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
 

• Address production problems by coordinating the necessary support from the service areas.
• Supervise and guide the team leader.
• Know and apply Lean Manufacturing concepts.
• Conduct start-up meetings with operators.
• Responsible for performing administrative functions such as capturing incidents that affect the payment of the workers in their charge and delivering documentation to the Human Resources department.
• Ensure efficient and consistent shift changes.
• Investigate and correct quality problems.
• Keep their areas clean and organized.
• Develop Projects for continuous improvement.
• Monitor/audit/ the operation of your staff.
• Manage assigned responsabilities independently.

Education and/or Experience:

• Technical or Professional.
• 1 to 2 years of manufacturing experience.
