Position Summary
Gaming & Analytics Performance Analyst
Grover Gaming — a Light & Wonder company
Company Overview
Join one of the fastest-growing companies in gaming. Grover Gaming, a Light & Wonder company, designs and delivers world-class charitable and electronic gaming products that create exceptional player experiences and drive innovation across the venues we serve. As we continue to grow at a record pace, we are focused on attracting exceptional talent, empowering our people to build fulfilling careers, and shipping products that are second to none for our customers.
Position Overview
The Gaming & Analytics Performance Manager plays a central role in analyzing game performance across multiple dimensions — game type, category, state, venue, day, and device. The role calls for a strong analytical understanding of consumer behavior, particularly in casino- and slot-style environments. You will own a comprehensive quarterly analysis of gameplay, identifying trends and player behavior and recommending where to improve. We are an AI-forward team, and you will be encouraged to use AI as a force multiplier — to explore data faster, prototype tooling, and sharpen your analysis.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze game performance in depth across parameters such as game type, category, state, venue, day, device, and player demographics.
Publish quarterly reports detailing gameplay analysis, trends, and insights that guide product improvements and strategic decisions.
Partner with Account Management and Account Executive teams to assess site-level performance and identify the factors contributing to success.
Visualize and present findings using tools such as Tableau and Power BI, communicating complex insights clearly to leadership and field teams.
Identify player-behavior trends to inform product development and marketing strategies.
Proactively recommend improvements grounded in data-driven insight to enhance player engagement and revenue.
Juggle multiple projects at once, moving between shifting priorities and parallel workstreams without dropping the ball.
Required Qualifications
Strong understanding of consumer behavior in gaming environments, with a feel for what drives play.
Proficiency with analytical and BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI; SQL and/or Python are a strong plus.
Excellent presentation and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable takeaways.
Genuine curiosity — a habit of asking questions, digging into the “why,” and testing assumptions rather than guessing.
Comfort with ambiguity and partial data; able to make defensible calls with what is available and refine as more arrives.
Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and a passion for data-driven decision-making.
Enthusiasm for working alongside AI to explore data, prototype, and build better tooling.
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Data Analytics, or a related field; an advanced degree is preferred.
3–4 years of experience in data analysis, preferably within the gaming or casino industry.
Track record of turning data into insights that informed real decisions.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the casino or gaming industry.
Familiarity with statistical or forecasting methods (regression, time series, clustering).
Exposure to data engineering, table design, or data modeling.
Comfort working with messy, semi-structured, real-world operational data.
Why Join Us
Be part of a rapidly growing company in the gaming industry.
Work alongside a talented team and contribute to innovative products, with a direct line to leadership.
Real influence: analysis that ships and gets used to shape what we build next.
Competitive salary and benefits package.
