KS1 Teacher – Hounslow – November 2026

A warm, ambitious primary school in Hounslow is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 Teacher to join their committed team from Hounslow 2026. This is a contractual KS1 Teacher role on a term-time basis within a school rated Good by Ofsted, celebrated for its nurturing ethos, structured early years and KS1 provision, and genuine commitment to giving every child the strongest possible start.

The Role

As a KS1 Teacher, you will plan and deliver high-quality lessons across the KS1 curriculum, using observation and assessment data to track individual pupil progress and inform your teaching. You will contribute to year group planning, support transition between EYFS and KS2, and build strong, trusting relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues throughout the year.

 

What the School is Looking For

This KS1 Teacher position will suit candidates who:

• Hold British QTS or are completing a UK-accredited teacher training programme
• Graduated with a 2:1 or above from a reputable UK university
• Have classroom experience within a UK primary school through placements or a substantive post, ideally with KS1 experience
• Show clear evidence of structured lesson delivery and measurable pupil progress in early reading, writing, and mathematics
• Are legally entitled to work in the UK - visa sponsorship is not available

 

ECT applicants are warmly welcomed provided formal UK teacher training has been completed.
