Accounting Assistant

Supports financial planning and analysis, which may include collecting financial information, correcting and reconciling accounting reports, report preparation, meeting coordination, etc. Reviews, codes and processes financial information. Collects and manages data in spreadsheets and databases. Provides audit support as needed.

About the job:

• Gathers, updates, and consolidates data to support the financial analysis and planning processes. (40%)
• Reviews and verifies process documentation on complex processes. (30%)
• Updates and reconciles financial reports. (20%)
• Reviews reports and analysis to confirm figures. (10%)
• Other duties as assigned.
  

About you:

• College graduate, Accountancy or Financial Management or any related courses equivalent
• One to two years of experience
• Previous experience supporting finance or accounting in manufacturing environment preferred
• Proficient in MS Office
• Analytical skills
• Strong communication skills
• High attention to detail
