## About this Role

We are seeking an experienced Power Platform Architect to provide technical leadership for the Microsoft Copilot Studio and Power Platform ecosystem within Vodafone’s Corporate AI Portfolio. This role will take ownership of the architecture, design, governance and delivery of AI-driven employee experiences, with an initial focus on AskHR, Vodafone’s global AI-powered HR assistant.

The successful candidate will work across Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, SAP and Google Cloud technologies to build scalable, secure and enterprise-grade conversational solutions. They will play a key role in advancing conversation-led employee experiences, establishing reusable AI and automation patterns, and accelerating digital transformation across HR, Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement and Legal functions.

## What you’ll do

### Agent Architecture and AI Experience Design

• Architect, build and continuously enhance Microsoft Copilot Studio agents using generative orchestration, topics, tools, connected agents, triggers and multilingual capabilities.
• Extend Microsoft 365 Copilot through declarative agents, plugins and connectors delivered through Microsoft Teams.
• Design and implement conversation-led employee experiences using Agentic Conversation Designer principles.
• Develop reusable AI agent frameworks that can be adopted across multiple corporate functions.

### Process Automation and Enterprise Integration

• Design and deliver end-to-end process automation solutions using Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Fx and Azure services.
• Lead enterprise integrations with SAP SuccessFactors, SAP BTP, Integration Suite, OData services and REST APIs.
• Enable employees to complete business transactions directly within conversational experiences.
• Integrate ticketing platforms and live-agent hand-off capabilities where required.
• Implement secure authentication, authorisation and identity solutions using Microsoft Graph and Microsoft Entra ID.

### Hybrid AI and Multi-Cloud Architecture

• Integrate Microsoft Copilot Studio with Google Cloud AI services, including Vertex AI Agent Builder and Gemini.
• Establish hybrid knowledge architectures combining SharePoint-based knowledge with governed enterprise AI knowledge repositories.
• Support interoperability using industry-standard protocols including MCP and A2A.

### Governance, Security and Operational Excellence

• Own Power Platform governance, environment strategy, solutions management, CI/CD pipelines and release processes.
• Establish and maintain DLP policies, Managed Environments and Centre of Excellence practices.
• Embed security, privacy and responsible AI principles throughout the solution lifecycle.
• Implement monitoring and analytics using Copilot Studio Analytics and Application Insights.
• Ensure highly available, scalable and reliable solutions that support a global workforce.

### Technical Leadership and Stakeholder Engagement

• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to distributed development teams.
• Define architecture standards, design principles and implementation best practices.
• Conduct solution reviews, technical assessments and architecture governance activities.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, DevOps, SAP, Security and Enterprise Architecture teams.
• Evaluate emerging Microsoft AI capabilities and make recommendations for adoption.

### Initial Focus Areas

• Take technical ownership of the Copilot Studio and Power Platform landscape supporting AskHR.
• Remove technical delivery constraints across Microsoft Copilot and SAP-integrated solutions.
• Define target-state architecture, standards and governance models.
• Accelerate SAP-enabled employee journeys and validate hybrid knowledge architectures.
• Support the evolution of AskHR into a fully conversation-led and agentic employee experience.

## Who you are

### Essential Skills and Experience

• Extensive experience in enterprise application architecture and integration, typically gained across complex, large-scale environments.
• Significant hands-on experience as a Power Platform Architect or technical lead delivering production-grade solutions.
• Deep expertise in Microsoft Copilot Studio, including generative AI and agentic capabilities.
• Strong experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, Dataverse, Power Fx and Azure integration services.
• Proven experience integrating SAP platforms and enterprise APIs.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, identity management and enterprise security practices.
• Experience establishing and governing enterprise-scale Power Platform environments.
• Practical understanding of generative AI concepts, including LLMs, RAG, prompt engineering and solution evaluation.
• Hands-on software development experience using technologies such as C#/.NET, TypeScript, Python and Power Fx.
• Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, influence architectural decisions and mentor colleagues.

### Desirable Skills and Experience

• Experience with Google Cloud AI services, including Vertex AI, Agent Builder and Gemini.
• Exposure to Azure AI Foundry or Azure OpenAI services.
• Microsoft certifications such as PL-600, PL-400, Copilot Studio or AI-related credentials.
• Experience within HR, Finance, Supply Chain or Procurement domains.
• Knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors and SAP S/4HANA environments.
• Experience integrating ServiceNow or comparable IT service management platforms.
• Experience delivering multilingual solutions across multiple regions and markets.
