Our client is a well-established manufacturing business currently looking for a Stock Controller/Administrator to join their team.

The role will primarily involve providing administrative support to the warehouse, gathering and managing stock information, and updating records and spreadsheets in Excel. Therefore, someone with strong Excel skills, excellent attention to detail, and good organisational skills would be ideal for this opportunity.

Key Responsibilities

• Providing day-to-day administrative support to the warehouse team.
• Collecting, collating and updating stock information using Excel.
• Maintaining accurate stock records and spreadsheets.
• Inputting data and ensuring information is recorded correctly.
• Reviewing stock information and highlighting any discrepancies or inconsistencies.
• Preparing and updating spreadsheets and stock reports as required.
• Organising and maintaining warehouse-related administrative records.
• Communicating with relevant colleagues to obtain and clarify stock information.
• Supporting the smooth running of warehouse administration.
• Assisting with general administrative duties where required.

About You

• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling data.
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
• Confident handling information and maintaining accurate records.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work with colleagues across the business.
• A proactive approach, with the ability to manage and prioritise tasks.
• Previous experience in stock control, warehouse administration or a similar administrative role would be beneficial
