Are you ready to step into a high-impact leadership role where you will shape the future of a large-scale housing portfolio? As Head of Asset Management, you will report directly into the Director and take ownership of strategic asset planning, compliance, and investment delivery. You will lead transformation across the service, driving innovation, embedding best practice, and ensuring assets deliver long-term value for residents. This is a unique opportunity for a Head of Asset Management to influence a full asset lifecycle - from development through to maintenance and regeneration - while building a forward-thinking, high-performing function.

 

Your role as Head of Asset Management:

 

• Lead strategic asset management, covering development, investment, and responsive & planned maintenance
• Develop and implement a robust 30-year asset strategy, aligned to financial and compliance frameworks
• Establish building safety and viability methodologies following SCS and compartmentalisation reviews
• Create a compliant and detailed asset register, aligned to regulatory expectations and best practice
• Drive service transformation, including smart component replacement and decency programme delivery

 

Your experience as Head of Asset Management:

 

• Proven senior leadership experience across large-scale housing asset portfolios, ideally within social housing
• Strong background in capital investment, repairs, and maintenance programmes
• Demonstrated success in change management and service improvement at organisational level
• Deep understanding of regulatory compliance, building safety, and asset governance
• Track record of developing teams and embedding skills transfer within services
