Duties and Responsibilities

Strategy Execution & End‑to‑End Accountability

• Execute the cluster supply chain and fulfilment strategy for India, translating strategic priorities into daily operational execution.
• Own end‑to‑end supply chain performance covering replenishment from plant, international freight, importation, customs & trade compliance, warehousing (3PL), transportation and distribution (3PL/4PL), inventory management, customer service, and reverse logistics.
• Ensure supply chain capabilities are scalable, compliant, and aligned to current and future business growth, including direct government supply models.

Financial Ownership & Cost Optimisation

• Own India fulfilment cost budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to meet Supply Chain P&L targets.
• Drive productivity, cost optimisation, and working‑capital improvements while maintaining service, quality, and compliance standards.
• Identify and execute continuous improvement projects to deliver sustainable cost savings and operational efficiency.

Planning, Inventory & Integrated Execution

• Ensure effective execution of demand and supply plans in partnership with the Country Demand Planner and Cluster teams.
• Accountable for inventory accuracy, stock availability, expiry management, and working‑capital performance.
• Lead scenario planning and risk mitigation for demand variability, supply disruptions, and inbound volume volatility.

Network, Operations & Service Excellence

• Manage delivery operations at 3PL/4PL premises to ensure alignment with sales targets and service commitments.
• Oversee transportation operations at 3PL/4PL warehouses, including delivery planning for all products.
• Manage goods receipt and goods return processes, ensuring daily reporting, timely discrepancy resolution, and coordination with QA/RA.
• Handle distributors complaints and ensure timely, effective resolution to meet distributors expectations.
• Monitor 3PL worker performance at customer premises.

Customer Order Management

• Oversee the full order‑to‑delivery lifecycle including loan orders, consignment orders, urgent orders, and goods returns through delivery acknowledgement.
• Ensure distributors process sales orders on time and in full.
• Provide timely distributor issue resolution and support commercial priorities.
• Deliver regular operational reporting to commercial teams, including outstanding consignment and loan positions.

Importation, Trade Compliance & Supplier Management

• Manage end‑to‑end product importation, including shipment monitoring, customs clearance through brokers, issue resolution, and inland transportation to warehouse.
• Ensure full compliance with Thai customs, trade, regulatory, and corporate requirements across inbound and outbound flows.
• Act as the operational coordination point for distributors, 3PLs, and 4PL partners.
• Lead distributor and logistics partner optimisation through monthly/quarterly scorecards, KPI reviews, automation initiatives, and continuous improvement programs.

Inventory, Quality & Compliance Management

• Own inventory analysis and controls including provision reports, reconciliations, stock counts, and stock accuracy analysis with defined monthly action plans.
• Monitor goods receipt and inspection processes and coordinate with QA to resolve quality or compliance issues promptly.
• Oversee receiving and handling activities at Baxter (3PL) warehouse, ensuring smooth transfers and issue‑free operations.
• Monitor distributor (4PL) performance across stock accuracy, short‑expiry management, suspended products, physical inventory, and location management.
• Manage product destruction processes in coordination with distributors or 3PLs for damaged or expired stock per approved schedules.
• Lead annual stock takes and ongoing cycle counts across all inventory types, ensuring compliance with expiry and disposal requirements.

Leadership & Cross‑Functional Collaboration

• Lead, coach, and develop team members, fostering a performance‑driven and continuous improvement culture.
• Work cross‑functionally with Commercial, Finance, QA, Regulatory, Manufacturing, and APAC Supply Chain teams to achieve shared business objectives.
• Serve as the Supply Chain expert for India in key operational, commercial, and planning forums.

EHS, GMP & Compliance Responsibilities (Compulsory)

• Ensure incidents are investigated, root causes identified, and corrective actions implemented.

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field required.
• Master’s degree or MBA preferred.

Experience

• 8–10+ years’ experience in supply chain, logistics, or fulfilment roles.
• Demonstrated people‑management experience, including leading operational teams and external partners.
• Experience in highly regulated, healthcare or pharmaceutical environments preferred.

Skills & Competencies

• Strong end‑to‑end supply chain and fulfilment expertise.
• Proven P&L management, budgeting, and cost‑reduction capability.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and project‑management capabilities.
• Ability to balance short‑term execution with long‑term strategic objectives.
