Job Description

As a Security Officer Reception Security Desk in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Front Desk Officer at a retail location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badges, monitor alarm panels, and provide outstanding customer service. Your professional presence and clear communication will help support a secure, welcoming environment for employees and guests. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at a retail front desk by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Greet visitors, manage access procedures, verify identification and credentials as required, and provide directions or general information in a professional manner.
• Monitor entry activity, maintain required logs and records, and report unusual activity, policy concerns, or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly front entrance and reception area while helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting a welcoming retail environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
