As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Veteran in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to security-related concerns with integrity. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a financial institution by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor management procedures, verifying credentials and directing authorized individuals in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, promptly documenting and communicating observations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain detailed records of patrols, incidents, access-related activities, and security-related concerns.

Minimum Requirements:

• Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess at least four years of military or law enforcement experience or a criminal justice degree.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
