Senior Product Manager - Growth, Engagement & Retention

Your mission

As a Growth, Engagement & Retention Senior Product Manager, you own Bitpanda’s rewards flywheel. You turn activity across our product offerings into a single measure of loyalty value, and that value into the reason a customer stays, pays, and brings others with them. Your north star is a power user: someone deeply engaged. Revenue diversification and customer lifetime value are your measures of progress.

What you'll do

• Establish the baseline: define the core customer health metrics such as cohort retention, product attach, CLV by segment, churn drivers, and engagement depth to diagnose value leakage, size growth opportunities, and guide investment decisions.
• Own the rewards flywheel and engagement strategy: design the earning and redemption logic that connects Trading, Earn, Card, and future products through a shared loyalty currency, and map the core engagement loops across the customer lifecycle; from activation to habit, reward to reinvestment, referral, community, and status.
• Decide, based on evidence, which rewards, nudges, and growth mechanics maximize net value, evaluating reward cost, breakage, cannibalization, and cost-to-serve. Product teams own their products; you own the cross-product incentive layer.
• Explore a subscription or membership model as one possible accelerator. If the evidence supports it, define pricing, tiering, and benefits for a recurring revenue layer with clear attach, retention, and margin targets; one of several mechanisms available to you, not a predetermined solution.
• Elevate community belonging and customer value by designing compliant, learning-focused status mechanics alongside strategic external benefits partnerships.

Who you are

• Growth, retention, and monetisation expert: 5+ years of Product Management in a high-growth B2C consumer platform — ideally crypto, fintech, neobank, marketplace, or loyalty/rewards. You've shipped or scaled a subscription, loyalty, or rewards product, and you connect what makes customers loyal directly to recurring revenue and retention, understanding tiering, points economics, and the traps: breakage, cannibalization, reward fatigue.
• Systems thinker: You can own a shared rewards ledger spanning multiple verticals without owning the verticals themselves, building connective tissue between verticals.
• Full-stack product thinker: Comfortable across commercial/pricing design, UX, and the entitlements, ledgers, and attribution plumbing that make tiers and rewards work.
• Data-driven and experimentation-led: You make decisions through evidence, not intuition. You define success metrics, build customer and business baselines, size opportunities, and use cohort analysis, segmentation, and rigorous A/B testing to identify value creation and leakage.
• Clear and compelling communicator: You articulate commercial trade-offs to Finance as confidently as product vision to engineers, and write PRDs that leave no room for ambiguity.
