The Volunteer Coordinator administers the volunteer program, ensuring volunteers are effectively supported in their assigned roles. This position promotes the successful integration of volunteer services across departments by coordinating assignments, maintaining records, compliance requirements, as well as supporting communication, training, and recognition efforts. Specific program responsibilities vary by site and may encompass a range of community-facing, fundraising, educational, or service-oriented initiatives. The Volunteer Coordinator helps ensure operational efficiency by maintaining accurate documentation and reporting and collaborating with leadership to enhance and expand volunteer services in alignment with organizational needs.
Essential Job Functions
Employment Qualifications
Associates degree in Public Relations, Business Administration, Management, or related field (preferred)
Previous work experience and/or training in a volunteer organization preferred.
3 years related experience (required)
Previous experience in supervision and training (preferred)
Range:
Minimum: $20.97
Maximum: $31.47
