The Social Work Associate supports the planning, facilitation, and evaluation of Growing We, a transition-focused social skills ecosystem for youths with social communication difficulties. The role spans groupwork facilitation, community programme operations, publicity, and programme administration.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Groupwork & Programme Facilitation

• Co-facilitate structured social skills groupwork sessions under the Growing We curriculum (e.g. friendships, interviews, workplace relationships, boundaries, managing disagreements, adult conversations).
• Prepare session materials, activities, and role-play scenarios aligned to session objectives.
• Conduct pre-session briefings and post-session debriefs with co-facilitators and programme staff.
• Observe and document youth participation, skill demonstration, and progress across sessions.
• Support caregiver reinforcement components (e.g. caregiver briefings, take-home practice guides, progress updates).

2. Programme Development & Evaluation

• Review and refine session content and curriculum materials based on facilitator observations and participant feedback.
• Administer pre- and post-programme outcome measurement tools (e.g. social skills scales, confidence/connection measures, goal attainment scaling).
• Track attendance, engagement, and skills-transfer indicators across groupwork, Social Club, and real-world practice components.
• Collate and analyse qualitative and quantitative feedback to identify programme gaps and enhancement opportunities.
• Contribute to the design of new modules or practice scenarios based on emerging youth needs (e.g. transitions to work, further education).
• Support periodic programme reviews and reporting to internal stakeholders and funders, including data-driven recommendations.
• Assist in developing or refining the integration between groupwork content and the on-demand mobile social coach (e.g. aligning in-app prompts with session themes).
• Support existing outreach programmes with the CRESTY team

3. Growing We Social Club

• Plan and manage the monthly/fortnightly Social Club calendar, including themes, venues, logistics, and budgets.
• Design activity-based sessions that translate groupwork skills into real-world social practice.
• Coordinate registration, attendance tracking, and participant communications.
• Recruit, brief, and work with volunteers to curate and run selected initiatives.
• Conduct volunteer debriefs and maintain volunteer engagement across the programme cycle.
• Ensure safety, safeguarding, and incident-reporting procedures are followed during community activities.

4. Marketing & Outreach

• Manage social media accounts and create content to publicise Growing We (posts, stories, short-form video, participant spotlights with consent).
• Develop publicity collaterals (e.g. flyers, EDMs, referral packs for schools and community partners).
• Conceptualise and pitch two (2) outreach concepts per year to grow programme awareness and referrals.
• Track basic engagement metrics (reach, sign-ups, referral sources) to assess publicity effectiveness.
• Ensure all publicity materials comply with organisational branding and PDPA/consent requirements for participant imagery.

5. Administration & Documentation

• Assist in consolidating and maintaining outcome measurement data across programme components.
• Maintain accurate and timely case documentation, session records, and attendance registers in accordance with organisational standards.
• Support consent form administration and secure storage of participant data.
• Assist with procurement, claims, and logistics coordination for programme activities.

6. Professional Practice

• Demonstrate practice aligned with the organisation's vision, mission, and sector best practices, including ethical, reflexive, and collaborative practice.

• Escalate risk or safeguarding concerns following organisational standard operating procedures.
