Pay Rate: $22.70 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate facility personnel and public responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, parking areas, access points, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, hazards, or policy violations through established channels.
• Maintain readiness of authorized duty equipment and follow applicable laws, training requirements, and Allied Universal policies for armed security-related assignments.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Possess a guard card or license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
