Description
Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is seeking a Director of Portfolio Management for Professional Services to lead the strategic definition, execution, and financial performance of a global portfolio of professional services spanning consulting, implementation, custom software development, integration, modernization, and managed services. This role owns the portfolio vision and strategy, P&L performance, and cross-functional leadership needed to drive business results and support Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions’ retail customers worldwide.
Qualifications
- 12+ years of progressive experience in Professional Services or Product Management.
- 10+ years of Personnel Management.
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred; degree emphasis in Business, Marketing, or Software. (Equivalent combination of education and experience acceptable)
- Dynamic, articulate, energetic, and self-starter personality with demonstrated ability to translate industry and customer insight into executable strategic vision.
- Strong demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into services solution definitions based on market analysis, retail industry trends, and voice of the customer, including competitive analysis, complementary solutions, consumer trends, and an understanding of retailers’ business needs.
- Strong ability to bring services to market via a Product Management lifecycle process, driving solutions from concept to delivery by coordinating across functional areas to plan, deliver, market, sell, and support.
- Experience managing multimillion-dollar services portfolios within SaaS, cloud, enterprise software, retail technology, or digital transformation environments.
- Proven results-driven individual with strong analytical, financial, and business acumen, with experience forecasting and managing Professional Services revenue and profitability.
- Executive-level presentation and communication skills in both client-facing and internal situations, with the ability to articulate industry and operational insights clearly and persuasively to all levels of executives and management, translating information to audience-appropriate levels using oral, written, and presentation skills.
Additional Skills
- Familiarity with retail technology, POS, or commerce platforms is a plus.
Major Responsibilities
- Build a portfolio of professional services that aligns with TGCS software and services strategy to achieve business objectives, customer commitments, and portfolio revenue and profitability growth.
- Establish strategic direction, define target markets, gather market research and service definition requirements, and conduct financial modeling and evaluation.
- Drive services to market and financial success by developing and executing a go-to-market plan for each service and working across marketing, sales, and delivery.
- Drive the launch of new services and equip regional sales and services teams with the necessary tools to win in the market.
- Manage services financials from resource planning and capacity management to signings, revenue, and profitability to optimize utilization, delivery quality, and customer outcomes.
- Collaborate with delivery and marketing teams within TGCS to bring services to market and drive business results.
- Help build relationships with strategic global customers.
- Deliver thought leadership in engagements with press and analysts through compelling messaging and value propositions.
- Work closely with the TGCS leadership team to expand the market opportunity and scale of the business.
- Deliver results through knowledge of the retail industry, TGCS strategy, and the competitive global landscape.
