Description
The Logistics Administrator supports the smooth and efficient movement of goods through the supply chain. This role ensures accurate documentation, timely coordination with suppliers and carriers, and effective communication across internal teams. The administrator plays a key part in maintaining operational accuracy, reducing delays, and supporting overall logistics performance.
Essential Duties, Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate daily logistics operations including shipments, deliveries, collections, and returns.
- Prepare and manage documentation such as invoices, shipping notes, customs forms, and compliance records.
- Track and monitor shipments to ensure on-time delivery and resolve any delays or discrepancies.
- Communicate with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to maintain accurate information flow.
- Support procurement activities by confirming order details, delivery schedules
- Handle customer queries related to delivery status, product availability, and logistics issues.
- Assist with logistics reporting, including KPIs, cost tracking, and performance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and relevant regulations.
- Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce operational costs
Experience / Qualifications:
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Proficiency with logistics software, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel Advanced Level Required).
- Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem‑solving mindset with a proactive approach and detail driven.
- Understanding of supply chain processes, shipping regulations, and documentation.
- Experience in logistics admin , warehousing, supply chain, or administration.
