Position Overview
- Provide dedicated 1:1 instructional and behavioral support to a middle school student in a specialized educational setting.
- Develop and implement individualized instruction aligned with the student’s IEP, academic goals, and learning needs.
- Collaborate with school staff, related service providers, and families to support the student’s academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development.
- Monitor student progress, maintain accurate documentation, and communicate updates regarding goals and performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Valid California Special Education Credential with Mild/Moderate Disabilities authorization and English Learner (EL) authorization required
- Experience providing 1:1 support or working with middle school students in a special education setting preferred
