Our technology solutions help organisations make better decisions, manage risk and improve operational performance.
About Enablon
Enablon is Wolters Kluwer's leading Integrated Risk Management (IRM), Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS), and ESG software platform.
Enablon helps large organisations manage critical areas including operational risk, workplace safety, environmental compliance, sustainability, business continuity and enterprise risk.
We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth of the Enablon platform across the Australian market.
The Opportunity
As a Business Development Manager – Enablon, you will be responsible for identifying, developing and closing new business opportunities with mid-market and enterprise organisations across Australia.
This is a new business / hunter role, requiring someone who is comfortable engaging senior stakeholders, developing complex sales opportunities and navigating long enterprise sales cycles.
You will work closely with internal solution consultants, account executives, marketing, customer success and product specialists to develop compelling solutions for customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a territory plan to identify and win new Enablon customers across Australia.
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified enterprise opportunities.
- Prospect into target organisations through outbound activity, networking, referrals, events and strategic account planning.
- Engage senior stakeholders including C-suite, Risk, Compliance, EHS, Sustainability, ESG, Operations, Audit and IT leaders.
- Understand customer business challenges and position Enablon's solutions to address their risk, compliance and operational requirements.
- Manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from initial discovery through to contract negotiation and close.
- Develop account strategies for large enterprise opportunities and identify opportunities for cross-functional engagement.
- Work with Solution Consultants to deliver product demonstrations and develop tailored customer propositions.
- Collaborate with Marketing to execute campaigns and generate new opportunities.
- Maintain accurate pipeline, forecasting and opportunity management within Salesforce.
- Build strong relationships with prospects and customers to establish Wolters Kluwer as a strategic technology partner.
- Consistently achieve and exceed annual revenue and new business targets.
What We're Looking For
We are looking for a commercially driven enterprise SaaS sales professional with a proven track record of winning new business.
You will ideally have:
- 5+ years' experience in B2B technology/SaaS sales, preferably selling into enterprise organisations.
- Proven experience as a new business hunter, rather than predominantly an account manager.
- Demonstrated success managing complex, consultative sales cycles.
- Experience selling software into areas such as:
- Enterprise Risk Management
- EHS / HSE
- ESG / Sustainability
- GRC
- Compliance
- Audit
- Operational Risk
- Cyber / Technology Risk
- Business Continuity
- Experience engaging senior decision-makers and navigating complex organisational structures.
- Strong commercial negotiation and closing skills.
- Experience managing a sizeable pipeline and accurate sales forecasting.
- Excellent communication, presentation and stakeholder management skills.
- A data-driven and commercially curious approach to sales.
