Why this is an exciting opportunity
We’re looking for a Business Process Analyst (6-month fixed term contract) to help drive smarter, more efficient ways of working across HUB24’s Business Operations. You’ll build a strong understanding of our operational processes, identify opportunities for improvement, and work with teams across Operations, Product, IT, Legal, Compliance and Finance to deliver meaningful change.
From process analysis and business requirements through to user acceptance testing and implementation, you’ll play a hands-on role in initiatives that improve operational efficiency and create better experiences for our advisers and clients.
What you’ll be doing
- Analyse existing business processes and systems to identify issues and opportunities for improvement
- Facilitate workshops to gather business requirements, data and stakeholder insights
- Develop clear business requirements, recommendations, backlog items and acceptance criteria
- Create and maintain high-quality process maps, procedures and supporting documentation
- Coordinate process improvement initiatives across Operations, Product and IT
- Lead user acceptance testing, impact assessments and implementation activities
- Support operational readiness, training and change communications
- Identify and manage operational risks, dependencies and compliance requirements
- Build trusted relationships with internal stakeholders and external service providers
What you bring
You don’t need to tick every box, but experience in the below will set you up for success.
Experience & Skills
- 1 to 3 years’ experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role
- Experience supporting business processes and operational functions within financial services
- Knowledge of contemporary business analysis methods, tools and techniques
- An understanding of project delivery lifecycles, governance and Agile methodologies such as Scrum
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- The ability to influence stakeholders, facilitate discussions and communicate recommendations clearly
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with the ability to prioritise, navigate ambiguity and work effectively under pressure
- A genuine passion for continuous improvement and delivering better client outcomes
