Job Description

As a Security Officer - Highrise Concierge in Phoenix, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries. As a Front Desk Security Professional, you will serve as a welcoming, visible presence at a professional office location, helping to deter security-related incidents through attentive access control, visitor assistance, and clear communication. You will support daily operations by monitoring entry activity, responding to alarms or concerns, and using technology to document events. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and appointments, issue visitor credentials, and direct guests to appropriate locations.
• Monitor access to the front desk area, maintain visitor and delivery logs, and report unusual activity or access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Answer incoming calls, provide general information, and support administrative tasks related to front desk operations and security-related documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least two years of security-related experience.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
