Description

Use Your Power for Purpose
The Cyber & Infrastructure Technology Analyst supports the secure, stable, and compliant operation of Digital and Automation infrastructure within the manufacturing environment. The role focuses on executing defined cybersecurity, network, and infrastructure activities in line with established standards and governance to protect critical digital assets and ensure reliable plant operations.

The Team Member performs day‑to‑day operations, lifecycle, and support activities across cybersecurity and network domains to keep Digital and Automation systems resilient and inspection‑ready. The role works closely with the Cyber Security & Network Lead, the global Cyber Security Team and cross‑functional partners to support secure infrastructure operations, incident response, and continuous improvement at site level.

What You Will Achieve

Governance, Regulations & Standards

  • Execute all work in alignment with applicable quality, cybersecurity, and regulatory requirements; follow established SOPs and governance processes; identify and escalate deviations or risks as required.
  • Support inspections, audits, and assessments by providing accurate documentation, data, and technical input when requested.

Architecture, Controls & Cybersecurity Delivery

  • Execute defined site-level cybersecurity and network activities in accordance with established Digital and Automation architecture, cybersecurity, and network standards.
  • Support the implementation and execution of approved control strategies and tools to maintain secure and compliant Digital and Automation environments.
  • Contribute to vulnerability remediation activities by executing defined controls and supporting risk mitigation actions.
  • Support cybersecurity planning activities by providing technical input, execution feedback, and documentation in line with approved strategies and standards.
  • Participate in local or global cybersecurity, infrastructure, and Digital & Automation–related projects as an executing team member.

Operations, Monitoring & Lifecycle

  • Support day-to-day Digital and Automation infrastructure operations, including proactive monitoring, incident handling, and issue resolution for assigned systems and network components as well as user management and audit trail reviews.
  • Maintain accurate asset and configuration inventory records for assigned Digital and Automation systems and network components; ensure updates are performed in a timely manner to support lifecycle, cybersecurity, and inspection readiness
  • Support change management activities for infrastructure and cybersecurity changes, including impact assessments, documentation updates, and coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Perform software and hardware lifecycle management activities (e.g. patching, upgrades, and end-of-life tasks) following approved plans and change management processes.

Incident, Crisis & Business Continuity

  • Support incident, deviation, and recovery activities and escalations to enable secure and return-to-service in accordance to agreed SLAs while maintaining data integrity and validated state control.
  • Support business continuity readiness by helping maintain recovery procedures/playbooks for assigned services and infrastructure and participating in recovery/failover testing or continuity drills as required
  • Support PANS-related activities by executing defined monitoring, configuration validation, and data collection tasks, escalating deviations per governance. Execute assigned PANS remediation activities (e.g. configuration corrections, rule updates, device/network changes, or control implementation) in accordance with approved remediation plans, change management processes, and site/governance standards.

Key Attributes, Skills & Competencies

  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles, network concepts, and OT/IT integration within regulated manufacturing (Digital and Automation environments).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess impact, troubleshoot effectively, and escalate appropriately.
  • Ability to follow formal change control and documentation/evidence practices in regulated/validated environments.
  • Basic capability to use monitoring and troubleshooting methods to identify common network/infrastructure issues and support timely resolution.
  • Demonstrates personal accountability for assigned work and delivers reliably within agreed scope, priorities, and timelines.
  • Collaborates effectively within the Cyber Security & Network Services team and with cross-functional partners, following defined governance and escalation pathways.
  • Able to support incidents and recovery activities in a structured manner, maintaining clear communication and composure under time pressure.
  • Supports a culture of professionalism, security awareness, continuous improvement, and personal development through day-to-day behaviors.

  • Applicant must have a bachelor's degree with 0+ years of experience; OR an associate's degree with 4 years of experience; OR a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 6 years of relevant experience
  • Experience in Digital and Automation infrastructure, OT/IT environments, network operations, or cybersecurity in an industrial and/or regulated manufacturing environment.
  • Practical experience supporting cybersecurity controls, networked systems, or infrastructure within validated or compliance-driven environments (e.g., pharma, biotech, or regulated manufacturing).
  • Familiarity with infrastructure lifecycle activities (patching, upgrades, vulnerability remediation, end-of-life) under defined governance processes.
  • Experience working within formal change management, deviation, and incident response processes; exposure to business continuity testing/drills is a plus.
  • Exposure to plant network environments and manufacturing automation systems (OT networking) is preferred.
