Job Summary
A Food Safety Compliance Co-op is a self-starter, with excellent organizational and communication skills who will provide outstanding support to our Quality Assurance Compliance team. This role, reporting to our Compliance and Audit Leader- provides a streamlined delivery of standardized programs across all the bakeries and assist in projects and researched for the Quality Assurance Compliance team to deliver process and time efficiencies while ensuring compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Revising and update corporate policies, procedures and records related to food safety and quality
- Organize and manage data for the migration of documents across the FGF Group
- Assist in developing and delivering Quality/Food Safety training and SOPs, ensuring compliance with documentation standards
- Ensure all information is consistent, accurate, and aligned with company policies
- Generate standard reports as requested to support decision-making processes
- Collaborate on various projects and handle miscellaneous tasks as needed by the team
Key Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Quality Assurance or related field
- Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of food safety (HACCP) programs, regulations (CFIA, FDA), GMP programs and Quality Systems
- A valid G license and access to a vehicle is considered an asset
