Our platform, Capalo Zeus VPP™, operates battery energy storage systems as a virtual power plant, helping asset owners generate higher revenues while supporting a more resilient and sustainable energy grid.

We are looking for a Key Account Manager based in Romania to take ownership of our customer relationships after contracts are signed, ensure long-term customer success, and identify opportunities to grow their portfolios with Capalo.

Your Role

As a Key Account Manager, you will be the primary point of contact and trusted advisor for our customers. You'll work closely with our internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding, help customers understand their trading performance, and identify opportunities to create additional value through portfolio expansion and our services.

You'll also contribute to understanding the Romanian energy market, supporting the team with market insights, performance analysis, and commercial opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and develop customer relationships after contract signing, acting as their main point of contact.

• Work closely with our Customer and Asset Onboarding teams to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.

• Maintain regular engagement with customer stakeholders to discuss market developments, Capalo Zeus VPP™ trading strategies, and performance.

• Help customers understand how Zeus VPP creates value and bring their feedback and ideas to our product development teams.

• Organize and lead regular performance review meetings, presenting trading results, market insights, and electricity market outlooks.

• Identify opportunities to grow existing customer portfolios through additional assets, projects, and upselling relevant Capalo services.

• Present revenue simulations and market insights to support customer decision-making.

• Support the team with market analysis, customer portfolio performance tracking, and insights into developments and opportunities in the Romanian electricity market.

What We're Looking For

• Experience in key account management, sales, or customer success.

• A background in energy markets, SaaS, or technology is a strong plus.

• A customer-focused and commercial mindset, with the ability to identify growth and upselling opportunities.

• Strong analytical skills and an interest in understanding electricity markets, trading performance, and commercial trends.

• Ability to translate complex technical or market insights into clear business value.

• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.

• Self-driven and comfortable taking ownership of key customer relationships.

• Fluency in Romanian and English. Hungarian language skills would be an additional advantage.
