In this role, you’ll play a key part in delivering accurate, timely financial reporting for a variety of clients. The position emphasizes higher-level accounting responsibilities rather than just transactional tasks. It involves general ledger analysis, month-end close, reconciliations, and financial reporting. Please note, this is not a remote job.Duties and ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.Perform general ledger account reconciliations, including prepaids, accruals, and fixed assets.Analyze and maintain the integrity of the general ledger.Prepare and post monthly journal entries.Complete bank, credit card, and balance sheet reconciliations.Assist with month-end and year-end close processes.Support financial reporting, including consolidations where applicable.Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.Collaborate with internal team members to troubleshoot and improve processes.Comfort interacting with clients via phone, email, and in person.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance (required).5+ years of accounting experience.Experience with QuickBooks is preferred.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.High attention to detail and organization.Clear and professional communication skills (written and verbal).Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.A strong work ethic and commitment to producing high-quality work.Positive, solutions-oriented attitude with openness to feedback and a continuous improvement mindset.BenefitsCompetitive compensation.Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance.401(k) with company match.Paid Time Off (PTO).
