Eaton’s ES AMER ARS division is currently seeking a Sr. Production Associate - SWBD Set-Up Line. The hours for this positon are 5:00 am- 1:30 pm
The hourly rate for this position is 19.25 per hour.
This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

## What you’ll do:
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITY:
Eaton is currently seeking a Sr. Production Associate in Switchboard Assembly to join our team. This position is based out of our Sumter, SC facility.
In the Sr. Production Associate you will work with the Supervisor to drive results on key metrics including safety, quality, delivery and productivity. You will provide leadership by promoting teamwork, training others and providing proactive resolution to production needs.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- You will promote a safe, engaged and inclusive work culture by proactively addressing and resolving concerns, and escalating issues to your supervisor as appropriate.
- You will assist the Team Leader/Supervisor in working with the manufacturing team to ensure that customer orders are executed in a timely and efficient manner and that the most urgent orders are fulfilled first.
- You will review orders and associated documentation (drawings, travel documents, bills of material) as needed to ensure the team has the appropriate information to complete the job and to assist with troubleshooting problems with the order documentation.
- You will communicate professionally to provide updates on the status of specific orders, resolve issues with production and promote teamwork across departments.
- You will assist the Team Leader/Supervisor in the assessment, selection, training and development of employees as the technical subject matter expert. You will ensure a flexible workforce through cross training in critical positions.
- You will delegate tasks and align resources as appropriate to meet production goals including working in a production associate capacity due to absenteeism/leaves of absence.
- You will work with the team to identify opportunities for continuous improvement and drive assigned projects to completion.

## Qualifications:
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
- 1 year of manufacturing or operations experience.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- No relocation benefit is offered for this position. Only candidates residing within the immediate area of the Sumter facility (50 mile radius) will be considered for this position.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Working knowledge of Lean concepts.
- 6 months of leadership experience managing people or project teams.
- Experience with Eaton systems including order entry (Vista), material management (DMM), MRP/ERP (AS400)

- Proficient with computers and programs including Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and SharePoint.
- Working knowledge of Lean concepts.
- Must work somewhat independently and make decisions that affect the workgroup. Focus efforts on attaining assigned goals and objectives, which include meeting needs and expectations of internal and external customers.

The employee is frequently required to push/pull up to or greater than 35 pounds. The vision requirements include far and close vision with depth perception and color discrimination. While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to listen and to talk.

Position impacts Sales volume by supporting inbound and outbound shipments of components and/or products required to support end customer needs. Position also supports inventories controlled in storeroom and warehouses.
